Sturgis, SD (April 11, 2017) There is only one Ozzy Osbourne, a multi-platinum recording artist, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, founding member of Black Sabbath and Ozzfest, known to worshippers worldwide as the Godfather of Heavy Metal. On Wednesday, Aug. 9 he will be astonishing fans at The Largest Music Festival in Motorcycling® on the Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s Wolfman Jack Stage. Osbourne chose to perform at the hub of the rally, the Sturgis Buffalo Chip, as one of just a handful of shows on his first solo U.S. tour in six years. The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame will be presenting Sturgis Buffalo Chip® President, Rod Woodruff with the J.C. Pappy Hoel Outstanding Achievement Award.
Sturgis, SD (March 21, 2017) The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame has named Buffalo Chip owner, Sturgis Rally supporter and philanthropist Rod “Woody” Woodruff as a 2017 Hall of Fame inductee. Woodruff will be presented with the Pappy Hoel Founders Award for individuals who have played a special role in the founding, maintaining and/or promoting of the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame on Wednesday, Aug. 9 at the Lodge at Deadwood, Deadwood, SD.

Sturgis, SD (March 20, 2017) – In honor of the 10th Anniversary of the Buffalo Chip’s Legends Ride S&S Cycle, Inc. is debuting a 165-170 horsepower performance-styled Harley-Davidson Dyna Low Rider custom to be auctioned in support of the milestone event that kicks off in Deadwood, SD on Aug. 7. The fully customized Low Rider, designed to look and feel every bit a “muscle bike,” will be unveiled on Saturday, March 25 at 12:15 p.m. at the Donnie Smith Bike & Car Show in the St. Paul RiverCentre, St. Paul, Minn.

Sturgis, SD (February 28, 2017) - AMA Supermoto, a high-energy race hybrid, will bring Sturgis Buffalo Chip® campers face to face with the ultimate “through-the-streets” style racing on Friday, Aug. 11 and Saturday, Aug. 12. Spectators watching in both the amphitheater and at surrounding campsites will be able to get an up-close view of all the action as AMA Supermoto competitors take their battle through the Chip’s amphitheater and around some of the surrounding streets in the campground prior to the night’s concert performances as part of the Chip’s Moto Stampede.
