Meet AMBER COHEN

LADIES IN LEATHER PARADE & RALLY

A strong will, loud mouth and gypsy soul combined with the determination to never be forced to own pantyhose throttled Amber “Mama” Cohen into the life of entrepreneurship from an early age. Hailing from a small town in SE Texas, she runs multiple enterprises including food trucks and a half dozen firework stands. More notably, for the last five years she has been at the helm of the Ladies in Leather Parade & Rally, the largest traveling all female motorcycle parade in the United States. What started as a search for female riding friends has grown into an enormous “lil family” of lady riders that span across the globe. These riding sisters, who network mostly from a private facebook group, meet up throughout the year for various Meet & Greets, campouts, rides and events. The Ladies in Leather Parade & Rally is held annually in September in a different location each year. Although predominantly a Texas based event, the parade draws hundreds of women from across the county to participate in the female-only parade. The weekend long rally has a focus on empowering women riders and giving them a place to celebrate their position in the motorcycling community. The Ladies in Leather organization represents women of all ages, all demographics, all levels of riding experience, and all makes and models of machines
