Cody Lee Meece

Friday, August 1, 2025

Meet Cody Lee Meece, a one-of-a-kind, self-taught guitar master and eclectic singer-songwriter from Eubank, Kentucky. The only label that fits? Original. With a style he dubs “Raunchy Tonk,” Cody blends influences from Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix to Waylon Jennings and Roger Miller, delivering a dynamic mix of bone-chilling vulnerability, endearing stage banter, and 10-foot-tall honky tonk rock. Backed by his powerhouse band, The Poor Excuses comprised of Daniel Stroud (bass), Logan Henry (pedal steel), and Severn Edmondson (drums), Cody is set to bring the heat when they open for STIL RUNNIN and ZZ Top on Friday, Aug. 1 on the legendary Wolfman Jack Stage.

Can’t get enough? Catch encore performances as Cody provides the soundtrack to the chaos with multiple shows at Camp Zero throughout the week.
