Outlaw Country Stars Perfect for Sturgis Rally Music
The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally may never be the same. Holding true to it's Best Party Anywhere™ mantra, The Legendary Buffalo Chip Campground®, announced that Montgomery Gentry and George Thorogood & The Destroyers will share the huge Chip stage for double-headline Sturgis Rally concerts Monday, Aug. 7, 2006.

Among most popular Sturgis Motorcycle Rally bands
Montgomery Gentry has become one of the biggest acts in Country music and has been among the most popular Sturgis rally bands. With more than 10 bona fide hits from "She Don't Tell Me To" way back to "Hillbilly Shoes" Montgomery Gentry have demonstrated that they not only are the real thing, they're a shining example of what Sturgis Rally music is, and should be and will be in the future.

Celebrating Sturgis Rally biker lifestyle
"If you go back and look," says Montgomery, "you had Waylon and Willie, Johnny, Kris Kristofferson, all these guys hanging out. They played music in barrooms, they'd sit around in a living room and pick all the time. There was no 'You've gotta be a certain way or play with this group or do this or that.' We're the same way."

Honky-tonk perfect for Sturgis Rally concerts
"We grew up in a honky-tonk," adds Gentry, "where musicians would come in all the time and get up and sit in with us. That's the way we believe music should be, with all these people coming together. The bottom line is it's about the song and the music."

Sounds like a Sturgis Bike Rally band, doesn’t it?
Through it all, Eddie and Troy have proven themselves heirs to the mantle of Haggard, Jones, Jennings and Cash, artists whose integrity and intensity blurred the lines between life and music. With You Do Your Thing, Montgomery Gentry sing songs that strip life to the marrow, that make passion and loss, pride and heartache into palpable entities. They are singers at the peak of their form, making music that is as raw and powerful as it is compelling.
