The hard rocking, hard partying band, Seether will play a double headline show with Papa Roach at the Legendary Buffalo Chip Campground Saturday, Aug. 11 to close out the venue’s 2007 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally concert series.

The band is touring in support of their new CD, “One Cold Night,” a live acoustic release recorded at Philadelphia’s Grape Street last year.

The live acoustic recording comes on the heels of the band relentlessly touring for close to five years and selling nearly two million albums. The band has seen success from the beginning, but they continue to push themselves to a new place with each release. It is this type of hard work that proves Seether is a force to be reckoned with in rock music.

“These guys are just great players,” said Rod Woodruff, campground owner. “They never fail to get a crowd rockin’ and with all the road experience they’ve had in the past five years, the Buffalo Chip crowd can expect a highly polished performance of some great rock ‘n’ roll.”

When asked about performing his repertoire in an acoustic setting, guitarist and singer Shaun Morgan says, “This is an experience for us to have some fun and present our music in a different fashion. It is amazing for us to be able to play the same heavy songs in a more intimate environment. We love it because we feel a connection with the audience and they can understand and listen to every chord that comes from the stage. It’s always fun to just mix it up and that's what we’re all about.”

Besides Papa Roach, Seether joins a long list of stars appearing at the Buffalo Chip during the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally,
including: Edgar Winter, Poison with Ratt, Toby Keith with The Classic Rock All Stars; Foreigner with Grand Funk Railroad; Velvet Revolver; ZZ Top with Buckcherry; and Daughtry with Blue October.
