Black Hills Students Return Victorious  From Famed Donnie Smith Bike Show

Sturgis, SD (March 30, 2015) – High school students from across the Northern Black Hills are returning home today from the prestigious Donnie Smith Bike Show in St. Paul, Minn. with two new trophies to add to their growing collection. The students participated in the Buffalo Chip Challenge™ program, headquartered at Sturgis Brown High School, where they helped to build two world-class custom motorcycles under the instruction of some of the industry’s most celebrated customizers.

Record Number of Black Hills Students Speeding Toward Buffalo Chip Challenge™ Scholarships

Sturgis, SD (March 4, 2015) – A record number of ambitious Black Hills high school students are racing toward a handsome scholarship prize as part of the 2015 Buffalo Chip Challenge, a program designed to teach custom bike building skills. The Challenge program has seen a significant increase in student participation this year thanks in part to $8,500 in scholarship funds that are on the line.
