Buffalo Chip News

Detroit rockers Pop Evil will join Alice Cooper on Saturday, Aug. 6 at the Legendary Buffalo Chip as part of their 30th party during the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

With hits like “Hero,” “Breathe” and “100 in a 55,” these hard rockers are a perfect compliment to a rockin’ theatrical Alice Cooper show for the bikers who come to the Chip to celebrate freedom during Sturgis Bike Week.

Campground owner Rod Woodruff said he was “delighted to bring an up-and-coming Detroit rock act to the Chip. Detroit’s been good to the Buffalo Chip over the years with artists like Grand Funk Railroad, Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels, Ted Nugent and of course Kid Rock. We’re sure Pop Evil will be as excited to play for Buffalo Chip bikers as all the Detroit rockers of the past.”
