Sturgis, SD (August 27, 2014) – The 2014 Sturgis Rally is over, and with winter on the horizon many face the prospect of parking their bikes until spring. But there are options for those who would like to feel the wind and the rumble this winter. The Sturgis Buffalo Chip® has partnered with EagleRider to present an opportunity for an open-road experience after snow has forced most Northern riders to garage their bikes. EagleRider is offering six Buffalo-Chip-branded tours from Los Angeles, along the coast of the famed Baja Pennisula, to sunny Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Buffalo Chip President Rod “Woody” Woodruff and his wife, Carol, will be guest leaders for the first tour leaving from Los Angeles on Oct. 26, 2014.
“As the Rally winds down each year, I realize so many of my friends had come for the party, but I was so busy that I didn’t have time to spend with them,” said Woodruff. “I want to experience the thrill of the ride, the company of friends and some beautiful scenery, just like our guests do when traveling to the Buffalo Chip each year. These tours seem like a perfect way to have that experience, which is why we partnered with EagleRider to offer Buffalo Chip branded rides. I’m also excited to join this tour because it gives me a real level of comfort to join a ride organized by such an experienced group of riders.”
EagleRider will offer riders on the Buffalo Chip Baja tours their choice of a new motorcycle, a chase vehicle for luggage, hotel accommodations and more on each eight-day, seven-night tour from Los Angeles to Cabo, as well as on nine-day tours leaving from Cabo and returning to Los Angeles. Each rider also receives a special, custom riding jacket as a souvenir of the ride.
