There’s no place on earth like Sturgis Buffalo Chip®, so it should come as no surprise that while you’re at The Best Party Anywhere® you can enjoy totally original and absolutely scrumptious dishes of almost every variety. Satisfy even your oddest cravings with these unique eats of the Chip so your tank is never running on empty.

1. Bacon, Apple and Swiss Grilled Cheese
Mean Maggi’s

(Located in the Amphitheater)

Grilled cheese? B****, please! Mean Maggi’s ain’t your nana’s wimpy Wonder Bread grilled cheese sammy. They make it fresh and with enough flavor to fire your funky riding boots right off your feet.

Take their bacon, apple and swiss grilled cheese sandwich, for example. Sweet, savory, hot, cripy and melty with your choice of white, white, sourdough or gluten free, this sandwich doesn’t mess around. And neither should you. Check ‘em out and try it out or one of their other killer creations.

2. The Rush Cheesesteak Sandwich
Philly Ted’s Cheezsteaks

(CrossRoads and South Food Court)

Philly Ted’s Cheezsteaks have been local legends in the Black Hills for quite some time, serving their mouthwateringly monstrous Cheesesteak sandwiches since 2001. They prepare them a variety of ways, from classic Philly style to piled high with all the fixin’s you could want.

One our favorites is The Rush, named after the Rapid City Rush hockey team. It’s a classic Cheesesteak with fried onions, ranch, & pepper jack cheese.

3. Chicken Bacon Parm Fries with Queso
Get Loaded Food Truck

(Located at Bikini Beach)

When it’s summertime, it’s hard to beat hanging out on the beach all day getting loaded, which is why it seemed like a perfect match for the Get Loaded food truck to setup shop at the Chip’s Bikini Beach. Get loaded up til you’ve reached a full food coma via their Chicken Bacon Parm Fries with Queso.

They also have loaded Philly fries, loaded taco fries, crab cake sandwiches, crab fritters and more. Just make sure you find some shade after you Get Loaded so you can take a little snooze without getting roasted by the sun!

4. Homemade Ice Cream
I’Scream 4 Ice Cream

(Traveling between BikinI Beach and CrossRoads)

I’Scream, you scream, we all scream for music, motorcycles and other wild customs at the Best Party Anywhere. But these hot August days might have you screaming for a cool treat. Thankfully the I’Scream 4 Ice Cream truck has what you need– gobs of sweet and delicious homemade ice cream.

You can’t miss their gnarly rat rod truck they’ll be serving it from as it travels between CrossRoads and Bikini Beach. Track ‘em down and try flavors like Monster Mint, Frank Oz vanilla with cookie dough pieces and chocolate flakes, and many other wild flavors that rotate daily!

5. Bomb Ass Burritos
Bonafide Foods

(Near the Wild Gypsy Tour Camp)

Simply put, you must not miss the food from the Bonafide Foods truck. Thankfully the painting of a jolly spoon and plate skipping through a tranquil mountain scene on its side will make that hard to do.

All of their chef-inspired recipes utilize high quality ingredients, locally sourced when possible, and they are so beautifully prepared you’ll be just as tempted to photograph your food as you will be to devour it. Items you’ll definitely want to check out are the Bomb Ass Burritos, their fresh baked donuts, and fresh-squeezed juices and smoothies that will genuinely blow your mind.

6. The Donut Burger
Kimm-ee’s Fry Stand

(Located in the Amphitheater)

Defying the laws of tradition can create some interesting results, and the Donut Burger from Kimm-ee’s Fry Stand is no exception. The marriage of a savory beef patty, crispy bacon and melted cheese smashed between two glazed donuts will create a heavenly flavor explosion that will have you smitten from the first bite. Find them in the amphitheater and fall in love with food all over again.

7. Pulled Pork Parfait
Porky’s BBQ

(Located in the Amphitheater)

Your eyes do not deceive you– this is a large cup overflowing with tender pulled pork, tangy barbecue sauce and fluffy mashed potatoes, swirled beautifully together into a blissful concoction of culinary delight. This is the pulled pork parfait from Porky’s BBQ, and it’s a monstrous meaty meal in a cup. Pick one of these up and stroll about the amphitheater and pig out while you rock out.

8. Santa Lucia Big Bite Breakfast Buffet
Santa Lucia Mediterranean Grill

(Located at CrossRoads & Amphitheater)

The Saint Lucia Big Bite breakfast buffet offers fresh-squeezed orange juice, fruit juices and more for those looking to start their day the Mediterranean way. Santa Lucia Mediterranean Grill offers lean meats and grilled vegetables served in fresh gyros for folks seeking healthier options. Add extra flavor with fresh-squeezed juices to take your gyro to the next level.

9. The “David Bowie” Pizza
Pie for the People

(Located at CrossRoads & Bikini Beach)

Ground control to Major Tom, the David Bowie from Pie for the People is so tasty that after one bite you’ll want to put on your red shoes and dance. White sauce, mozzarella, bacon, roasted pineapple, jalapeños, Guinness-caramelized onions and topped with plum sauce, this pie is one of the most unique slices you’ll find anywhere. In fact, if you think you’re going to find a better slice of pizza anywhere else during the Sturgis rally, you can "fuhgeddaboudit!" If the David Bowie doesn’t sound like your thing, then try the Dean Martin, Buffalo Soldier, Barry White or make it your own with everything from basil and garlic to pepperoni and sausage.

10. Fistful of Bourbon ‘n’ Apple Pie Gourmet Caramel Apple
Caramel Creations

When you’re head banging to some great concerts this year, make sure you try some– it will rock your socks off!
