Meet Penny Osiecki

HOGS & HEIFERS SALOON

Penny Osiecki is the self-proclaimed “Circus Coordinator” at the iconic biker bar – Hogs & Heifers Saloon located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In the late ‘80s, Penny decided she needed a change of scenery and with only $1500 in her pocket, moved from Joliet, IL to Hollywood, CA. Immediately after her relocation, she secured a job at Petersen Publishing working on magazines like Hot Rod, Car Craft and Drag Racing. In 1994, Penny found her way into the 2-wheel publications doing ad sales for Motorcyclist, Sport Rider, Dirt Rider, Motorcycle Cruiser, and Hot Rod Bikes. Due to her interest in learning to ride, and because there were very female riders at the time, the company sent her to the motorcycle safety course and asked her to test ride and review multiple brands of motorcycles as a new female rider.

To gain experience in the motorcycle dealer world, Penny took a short 2-year break from publishing and worked at Bartels’ Harley-Davidson as the Finance Manager. This is where she found her love for FXRs and purchased her first FXR.

Penny teamed up with Mark Barnett in 2002 to assist in launching Barnett’s Magazine. This allowed Penny the opportunity to test ride and review numerous lines of motorcycles, such as American Ironhorse, Big Dog, Victory, Confederate and many more. Penny was given a 1994 FXR company bike to customize and feature in Barnett’s Magazine, which she eventually purchased from the magazine and rides still to this day.

Due to the trending fade of print publications, Penny launched her own company, Lucky Penny Marketing, and generated an array of clients within the motorcycle industry, including Hogs & Heifers Saloon. Penny took their annual motorcycle event, Rally in the Alley to a new level in 2016 and expanded the footprint and increased the attendance.  Penny and the owner of Hogs & Heifers – Michelle Dell had been wanting to work together for years so Michelle offered her the position as the Events Director (aka Circus Coordinator) for Hogs & Heifers in 2017.  Since then, Penny has orchestrated and grown internationally known events including their annual SEMA event, Mint 400 event, Shot Show Parties, Punk Rock Hoedown and Rally in the Alley.

During her down time, you can find Penny spending time with family, friends, on her FXR, or out in the desert shooting guns with her husband and son.
