Madison Rising Makes Spectacular Debut at 2013 Sturgis Rally

Group Gives All-American Salute to Military and Concert Goers on Freedom Celebration Day at the Chip

Patriotic rockers, Madison Rising, will bring their unmistakably pro-American message and catchy guitar-driven sound to the 2013 Sturgis Rally on Thursday, Aug. 8. The group will command the stage prior to Lynryd Skynryd and Brantley Gilbert during the Buffalo Chip’s spectacular Freedom Celebration.

Madison Rising first made their fervent devotion to their country known when they released their self-titled debut in October 2011. The album, which contained tracks such as “Honk If You Want Peace,” “Soldiers of America,” “Rally the Youth” and “Right to Bear” immediately took position as one of the 100 best-selling rock albums both on iTunes and Amazon.com.

More recently, Madison Rising has garnered a great deal of attention with the release of their #1 best-selling rock rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. “We’ve reworked it in an absolutely unique way, but staying as true and respectful to the original version as possible,” says lead singer, Dave Bray.

The energetic and modern take on the National Anthem quickly exceeded one million YouTube hits following its release. Madison Rising has performed the song at prestigious locations around the nation, including Mike Huckabee’s program on the Fox News Channel. The group’s passionate performance during the 2013 Sturgis Rally adds to the list, while creating a great compliment to the Chip’s annual Freedom Celebration.

“Madison Rising’s poignant rendition of the Star Spangled banner is both emotionally moving and inspirational,” says Daymon Woodruff of the Sturgis Buffalo Chip. “The song’s impact on fans will undoubtedly solidify the tremendous patriotic spirit during the Freedom Celebration and be a moment to remember for years to come.”
