Sturgis, SD (May 17, 2023): The Sturgis Buffalo Chip has announced its celebrity ride captains and special guests for the 16th annual Legends Ride on Monday Aug. 7. The big names bolster the growing list of celebrities participating in the The Ride That Rocks™ during the 83rd Sturgis Rally. Ride captains, actor & director Lorenzo Lamas (Renegade) and actor Rusty Coones (Sons of Anarchy), will lead a ride through the beautiful Black Hills alongside these special guests: actor and musician Tommy “C. Thomas” Howell (The Outsiders), custom motorcycle legends Cory Ness, Zach Ness, and Roland Sands, renowned photographer Michael Lichter, and Buffalo Chip founder and president Rod Woodruff.

Sturgis, SD (April 13, 2023): The Best Party Anywhere® will celebrate the start of the 83rd Sturgis Rally with the largest kickoff party the Sturgis Rally has ever seen. The Buffalo Chip’s Official Sturgis Rally Kickoff™ will feature the bearded giants of classic rock and biker favorites ZZ Top. To help ZZ Top kick off the rally in style, the Buffalo Chip will host the Support Bikers Moto Meetup, the Full Throttle Magazine Official Rally Kickoff bike show, a parade into the amphitheater, a beer wall smash stunt in honor of Sturgis Rally founder Pappy Hoel’s original fire wall smash stunt and so much more. Heli-Expo 2023 (March 8, 2023). Bell and Sturgis Buffalo Chip announced their plans to host the first Helicopter Rally during the 2023 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. This will be the second year Bell will exhibit and provide demonstration flights in the Bell 407GXi and Bell 429, operating out of the Buffalo Chip venue.
