Dwight York Delivers Uncontrollable Laughs to Sturgis Rally

King of One-Liners Will Have Sturgis 2013 Attendees Rolling

“Hope you like jokes, cause here we go…” This year the Buffalo Chip Comedy Club again opens its arms to the hilariously raunchy comedian, Dwight York. The crude one-liner genius is sure to provide sidesplitting laughter to everyone at the Sturgis Rally with such quick and hilarious punch lines as, “I had a date once with a woman cop. Course I had no idea she was a cop…she was dressed up like a prostitute.”

Dwight York started performing stand-up in 1989 and quickly became one of the hottest upcoming comedians in Minneapolis. The comic hasn’t stopped performing and comedy clubs, competitions, and bars since. York’s unique style and timing of one-liners has made him a highly regarded competitor in many comedy competitions. York has been invited several times to be a guest on the popular nationally syndicated radio program, “The Bob and Tom Show.” He told the hosts, “I was homeless for awhile. I didn’t want anyone to know so I slept in front of a TicketMaster.” The joke became an instant favorite on the show.

“In one hilarious unexpected turn after another, Dwight York crashes straight into your funny bone,” says Daymon Woodruff of the Sturgis Buffalo Chip. “It’s one of the reasons we’ve made him a featured regular on our Sturgis Rider TV All Access webisodes where he hosts the campground’s funniest run-ins and camper’s stories.”
