ULTRA4 USA is back to bring the noise to the world-famous Buffalo Chip during the 86th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, and this time, it all goes down the same day as Lainey Wilson takes the stage.
This is your kind of doubleheader: dust, horsepower, and a little country soul.
Buckle up for a full day of wild, off-road action as ULTRA4 USA drivers unleash high-horsepower rigs on a purpose-built short course at the Buffalo Chip PowerSports Complex. We’re talking high-speed straightaways, technical turns, jumps and the kind of beautiful chaos only ULTRA4 can deliver.

You probably already know ULTRA4 USA for its annual King of the Hammers desert off-road racing event. Now you can experience the same high speeds and big thrills they bring to races all over the US, Mexico, and Europe with multiple classes ranging from UTV stock machines all the way up to 4400 unlimited cars.
The series challenges drivers to compete in a wide variety of terrain, from endurance desert racing, competition-style rock crawls, short course racing and more across the country each year. Each ULTRA4 USA race acts as a qualifier for the season, beginning with races at King of the Hammers in Johnson Valley, California.
The Buffalo Chip ULTRA4 USA format will be a short course “heat” style, giving you non-stop action all day long!
No other event taking place during the Sturgis Rally will get your adrenaline pumping quite like ULTRA4 USA and the rest of the Buffalo Chip race series. Don’t play it safe!
On Tuesday, Aug. 11, Jim York’s Van Prix turns an ordinary van into an extraordinary spectacle. Expect high-speed drifts, tire-smoking slides, and precision driving that pushes the limits of what’s possible on four wheels. It’s a unique show packed with action from start to finish all part of Ultra4 USA’s Black Hills Throwdown.
Catch a meet & greet at the CrossRoads from 4-5pm
Watch a parade through the campground to the Powersports Complex at 5pm
Check out the vans from 5:30-6pm
