BIKE SHOWS - Daily
Whether you like ‘em chopped, bobbed, stretched or souped up, the CrossRoads at the Buffalo Chip® is the place to see the Sturgis Rally’s baddest bike. Ride into this two (and sometimes three) wheeled wonderland to display your custom creation, or walk through and ogle some of the world’s most magnificent machines during the Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s many distinctive custom bike shows held in the Big Engine Bar Pavilion.

Bands - Daily
Knock back a couple cold ones with friends while taking in non-stop entertainment on the Big Engine Bar Stage. Beat the heat and get out of the elements inside the brand new Big Engine Bar while taking in nine days of killer music.

Ives Brothers’ Wall of Death - Daily
Hang over the edge and watch in amazement as the world-famous Ives Brothers defy death, performing stunts on their traveling vertical wooden board track.They’ll be performing multiple daily shows throughout the rally. Check out the times posted by their motodrome and plan to take one in.

Brews & Braaaps Beer Festival - Saturday, Aug. 3
Craft beer lovers rejoice! The first-ever craft beer festival to hit the Sturgis Rally is coming to the Big Engine Bar at the CrossRoads on Saturday, Aug. 3! Nab a 2 oz. collectible glass for a few bucks and feast your taste buds on some of the finest suds in the nation from 12 featured breweries!

Schools Out Chopper Show - Saturday, Aug. 3
The first campers to ever pass through the Buffalo Chip gate in 1981 rode in on choppers, so it’s only fitting that this year’s full week of Buffalo Chip bike shows kicks off with a show for chopper lovers. Old school, new school and everything in between will be on display, plus you’ll have the chance to meet star chopper builders including “Horny Mike” and win prizes to get you going on your next chopper build.

FLYING PISTON BREAKFAST – Sunday, Aug. 4
Kickstart your vacation with the cool kids at the Sturgis Rally by meeting the world’s front line custom builders at the Flying Piston Breakfast Benefit. This exclusive event on Sunday, Aug. 4 allows you to meet and mingle with some of motorcycling’s most distinguished builders whose bikes appear in this year’s Motorcycles As Art exhibition, curated by Michael Lichter. Surprise Special Guests, too! And best of all, proceeds benefit Motorcycle Missions and tech ed scholarships to aid veterans and high school grads

Send It Sunday  - Sunday, Aug. 4
Do you think safety should be second, rock should be rowdy, and fun should be free? Don’t drive yourself mad trying to track down the best places to satisfy your wild side during the Sturgis Rally. Strap yourself in for a a stacked schedule of stunts, bike shows, races, music and mayhem that’ll keep your heart racing, your face grinning and your wallet fat all day long.

Gambler 500 Rallycross – Sunday, Aug. 4
The Sturgis Rally may be known as a motorcycle event, but the Gambler 500 boys are ready to stir things up! Everyone is welcome to bring out their favorite crap bucket (or a fancy car you’re willing to wreck) and tear up some dirt with a bunch of racers who value fun over rules. They’ll be shredding and causing a ruckus all day across from the Big Engine Bar.

ROCK ‘N’ ROLL TATTOO CONTEST - Sunday, Aug. 4
If you’ve been to the Buffalo Chip CrossRoads during the Sturgis Rally, you already know it’s the number 1 place to see insane customizations during its daily bike shows. During Send It Sunday, it will also be celebrating customizations you make to your own body in the Sailor Jerry Rock ‘n’ Roll Tattoo Contest! Whether you’ve got a piece of your own to show off or you simply appreciate the art, you won’t want to miss this amazing ink exhibition hosted by renowned tattoo artist and Buffalo Chip Tattoo Cafe Director Shaun Kama and Wild Gypsy Tour Director Kelly Yazdi.

Bell Brawl at the Buffalo – Sunday, Aug. 4
Get ready to have your mind blown by some of the craziest sh*t you’ve ever seen in your life. The guys that throw down in the Bell Brawl at the Buffalo do things on big V-Twin motorcycles you literally have to see to believe. And you’ll be able to see them lay it all on the line in front of celebrity judges including Carey Hart.

The FXR Show and Dyna Mixer – Sunday, Aug. 4
Ride in and register for free for this no-nonsense motorcycle event coordinated by Joe Milke that brings together motorcycle riders to have fun and show and talk motorcycles. The show is all about the riders, their stories and their ride. Tons of great prizes will be awarded based on popular vote thanks to the support of many of the biggest names in the motorcycle world and aftermarket parts industry. One hundred percent of the revenue generated from donations and t-shirt sales at this show go directly to LifeScape of SD, formerly known as Children’s Care Hospital and School.

Monster Freestyle Motocross – Monday, Aug. 5 – Friday, Aug. 9
Witness high-flying flips and tricks as world-class Monster athletes defy gravity during jaw-dropping stunt shows throughout the day. Backflips, Superman seat grabs, Nic-Nacs, and Cliff Hangers are just a few of the famous FMX tricks you can expect to see as riders soar through the air 40 feet above your heads.

Clint Ewing Stunt Show – Monday, Aug. 5 – Thursday, Aug. 8
Hold on for a wild ride as professional street bike stunt rider Clint Ewing makes his return to the Sturgis Buffalo Chip to perform daring motorcycle stunts. His freestyle ride will leave you in awe as he performs some of the craziest motorcycle tricks of wheelies, stoppies and burnouts you’ll ever witness.

V-Twin Visionary Performance Bike Show – Monday, Aug. 5
Burn rubber and haul ass to one of the most badass bike shows to ever set up shop during the Sturgis Rally when V-Twin Visionary and Jeff G. Holt throttle the V-Twin Visionary Performance Motorcycle Show into the CrossRoads at the Buffalo Chip.

Threedom Show and Shine Bike Show – Monday, Aug. 5
They say good things come in threes, and on Monday, Aug. 5, you’ll see why when the Three-Dom Show & Shine presented by First Gold Gaming Resort returns to the Buffalo Chip CrossRoads! This FREE show will celebrate American Three-Dom and all things three-wheeled, from conversions and sidecars to Spyders, Slingshots, Vanderhalls and full-on custom creations!

Sassy & Classy Over 35 Model Search - Tuesday, Aug. 6
You don’t have to be in your 20s to strut your stuff at the Buffalo Chip. Like a fine whiskey or your favorite pair of leather boots, the women of the Buffalo Chip’s Sassy & Classy Model Contest are proof that certain things just get better with age! Watch biker babes over the age of 35 step into the spotlight and compete to win a free pair of Top Shelf Passes to the Eric Church concert!

Women & Wheels Bike Show-Tuesday, Aug. 6
This all-women’s ride-in bike show presented by the Wild Gypsy Tour will bring together a unique collection of women-owned machines during the Buffalo Chip’s annual Biker Belles Celebration. Support female builders and two-wheel lifestyle enthusiasts by participating or attending!

Sexiest Bagger Bike Show-Tuesday, Aug. 6
Feast your eyes on one of the most alluring bike shows to ever set up shop during the Sturgis Rally when Strip Club Choppers rolls the World’s Sexiest Bagger Show into the CrossRoads at the Buffalo Chip. Cash prizes and high-end components are up for grabs. Ride in to win!

Fan Fest – Wednesday, Aug. 7
You’re invited to Fan Fest to meet up with your friends and enjoy wacky contests like the Cherry Pie Eating and Stud Contests, ice-cold drinks, live music, gorgeous girls and generous giveaways including a pair of 2019 Buffalo Chip Passes!

Mullet Madness Contest – Wednesday, Aug. 7
Is your philosophy (and your hair style) “Business in Front, Party in Back”? If so, then you’ll want to make your mullet game is on point for the Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s first ever Mullet Madness mullet contest! If you don’t feel like brandishing a mullet prior to your arrival, Matty the Barber will be giving free mullets and mullet touchups at the Buffalo Chip Barber Shop! Cash prizes go to the best mullets!

Full Throttle Bike Shows – Wednesday, Aug. 7
Ride into the Full Throttle Florida Magazine’s Bike Show at the Buffalo Chip CrossRoads, and you could ride home a winner! This show welcomes all brands and has a class for every make and style, giving guests a huge variety to view and participants greater chances of winning. The Bagger Blastoff welcomes any brand bagger with a loud-and-proud sound system.

Gambler 500 Hooptie Huck Contest - Thursday, Aug. 8
The Gambler 500 boys have proven themselves to be a bit on the crazy side. Come watch, or befriend and join, them as they launch their glorious heaps off a nicely made pile of dirt to see who can reach Leguuuuuund status! An event not for the faint of heart, but for those willing to sail into the record books.

Rats Hole Bike Show - Thursday, Aug. 8
This one-day event is the grandrat of all bike shows. The Rat’s Hole brings together an impressive crew of international judges and builders—one group vying for the titles, the other looking to find a bike with personality, function and a progressive sense of motorcycle culture. The show features 16 classes and awards nearly 60 hand-sculpted trophies to its winners.

Freedom Field
A field of nearly 1,000 flags stands majestically at the entrance to the CrossRoads, paying tribute to those who have given their lives protecting our nation’s freedoms. Spend an awestruck moment paying your respects to the brave men and women who sacrifice everything for us by walking through this impressive display.

V-Twin Sculpture
Everything’s bigger at the Buffalo Chip, including this colossal sculpture that two Chip employees created out of some old water tanks in 2011. Commemorate your trip to the CrossRoads by having your picture taken in front of this five-ton, illuminated engine sculpture, which towers 50 feet above the ground!

Veteran’s Memorial Wall
Standing proudly behind the Battlefield Cross Sculpture and Field of Flags is the AVTT Veterans Memorial Wall. Each year the Patriot Guard Riders assist in putting up this wall so you can see the names and pay your respects to those who made the ultimate sacrifice while defending our freedoms.

BMW Demo Rides & Custom Concept Bike Display
Be the one of the first to see the Concept R18, BMW’s visionary entry into the cruiser market. The Concept R18 will be displayed alongside Custom Works ZON’s “Departed” and Revival Cycles’ “Birdcage” – custom motorcycles built around the prototype of BMW’s new big boxer engine. Buffalo Chip Tattoo Cafe
Looking to get some new ink during the Sturgis Rally? You can find any design you want without even leaving the Chip grounds at the Buffalo Chip’s Tattoo Café! After 8 years of doing celebrity caliber work in the Buffalo Chip amphitheater, the Café expanded in 2018 to a second location at the Buffalo Chip’s free-access CrossRoads.

Barber Shop
Matty the Barber will be hanging his barber pole at this brand barber shop offering straight razor shaves, trims, cuts and more. The Barber Shop is located at the north end of the CrossRoads and presented by CREW.

Free Pancake Breakfast
The Buffalo Chip offers awesome partying late into the night during the Sturgis Rally. But if you rise early, you’ll also have a chance to meditate and fuel up for the day with a free pancake breakfast from the Sons of Light Motorcycle Ministry!

Free Fuel Happy Hour presented by Renewable Fuels Association
If you’ve got a Buffalo Chip wristband and are riding a motorcycle, then there’s a free tank of fuel waiting for you during Free Fuel Happy Hours at the CrossRoads at the Buffalo Chip®! Ride on up Tuesday, Aug. 6-Thursday, Aug. 8 between 1 and 4 p.m. and let Renewable Fuels Association top off your motorcycle’s tank with 93 octane E10 (10% ethanol, 90% gasoline) for free!

Gas Station
Get high octane fuel for less than standard octane at the Chip’s brand new, self-service gas station courtesy of Renewable Fuels Association. The Stop & Fuel will be offering 93-octane fuel 24/7/365 near the corner of Russ Brown Blvd and Flag Ave. If you need to fuel up before hitting the road, you won’t find a better price nearby, and you can’t beat the convenience!

Bands Performing At Big Engine Bar

Supersuckers
They may be trashy, they may be cheeky, but despite their name, this rockabilly garage punk band does NOT suck. Pack a clean pair of underwear because the Supersuckers’ over-the-top celebration of the evils of rock and roll during the Bell/Dualigans Party will rock your pants right off.

BC & The Big Rig
Your faith in the hard-working American spirit will be renewed when you hear BC & The Big Rig blend country and rock elements with touches of folk storytelling during the Buffalo Chip’s music festival. With influences ranging from Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash to Black Crowes and Roger Clyne, this Tulsa-based group fits right in at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip.

Charlie Brechtel
“Good Time Charlie,” as fans know him, has become an important part of the Chip’s showcase experience! Charlie Brechtel’s music is in a bona fide tribute to the biker lifestyle. You’ll hear stories of pioneering bikers, vintage motorcycles and biker destinations like the Sturgis Rally told through his scorching blues originals; you might even hear the song he wrote specifically about the Chip!

Stone Senate is a five-piece contemporary southern rock band hailing from Nashville, TN. The band’s sound is infused with a multitude of genres ranging from country to funk, but beyond all their influences is a deep appreciation for classic southern rock bands like The Allman Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
