Fans of everything chopped, raked and rigid need to make their way to the Buffalo Chip’s free-access Crossroads for the epic Schools Out Chopper Show Presented by Stoopid Chopper Show. Awards for classes including Best Knucklehead, Best Panhead, Best Shovelhead, Best EVO, Best Twin Cam, Best Metric are offered.
Lately, traditional bike shows with classes and trophies have been eclipsed by invitationals. But going old school has its benefits.
And that’s exactly what’s up for grabs at the 9th annual Buffalo Chip School’s Out Chopper Show on Saturday, Aug. 8. The first campers to pass through the Buffalo Chip gate in 1981 rode in on choppers, so it’s only fitting that the Custom Series includes a show for these classic, raked-out rides.

Ride in and register FREE on site at the Buffalo Chip’s free-access CrossRoads in the horseshoe Saturday, Aug. 8 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and get ready to school the competition!
The Best in Show winner will go on to compete against the winners of thebother shows in the Sturgis Buffalo Chip Custom Series for the title of 2026 Custom Series King. All Best in Show winners are invited onto the Buffalo Chip’s legendary Wolfman Jack Main Stage at week’s end where celebrity judges will crown the winner of this prestigious award.
Celebrity Judges & Guests
Special guests will make appearances to serve as show judges. Judging begins at 3 p.m.
This show is likely to bring together the area’s largest assembly of choppers in 2026. Don’t miss the chance to kick off your rally celebrating this iconic style.
