Captain Jack Delivers Hilariously Raunchy Musical Comedy to August Music Festival

Grease Up Your Funny Bone with Sturgis Events from this Long-Time Chip Social Lubricant

Under normal circumstances you might be turned off if a grizzly old biker sang you a song about sex toys, but after a few moments spent with the “social lubricant” known as Captain Jack, you’ll let all the dirty jokes and crude stories of Chip yesteryear slide right in. This loveable musician will again bring his quirky brand of folk blues comedy to the Chip during daily performances at the Kinsion Stage and Comedy Club, and catching at least one is mandatory if you want the true Buffalo Chip experience.

Captain Jack is a Buffalo Chip institution, having performed at The Best Party Anywhere® for longer than even the most seasoned Chip veterans can remember. Even before he was put on the official schedule, Captain Jack was entertaining the crowds that always seemed to gravitate to his campsite (now the site of Captain Jack’s Burnout Bridge) for late night parties.

Captain Jack wears a lot of hats at the Buffalo Chip. Outside his performances, you can see him co-hosting the daily World Federation Pickle Lickin’ Championship alongside Hank Rotten and handing out his signature silver pennies. Play your cards right, and you might get to take one home!

The Southern-bred, NYC-based comedy country western duo may look innocent, but they deliver the dirtier side of life without batting an eye. These working girls have been everywhere, straddling music venues and comedy clubs from coast to coast, as well as appearances on SiriusXM radio, Huffington Post, CollegeHumor, and many more. The Whores have toured with legendary bassist and Primus frontman Les Claypool, and also Dweezli Zappa. Now they’re coming back to the Chip to tickle your funny bone.

If you want to laugh till your sides hurt and relive old stories from Sturgis Rallies past, you won’t want to miss out on a single performance from this Buffalo Chip mainstay. Check out the Chip Daily Schedule for performance times and reserve your passes now!
