(December 21, 2023): The AIMExpo and the Sturgis Buffalo Chip have partnered to further elevate the most important powersports industry meet-up of the year. For this year’s event, the Buffalo Chip will host the “Best Party Bar” and award the “Spirit of the Chip” trophy at the expo’s new custom bike show. AIMExpo will be held Feb. 6-8, 2024 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.
“AIMExpo is the winter event that everyone in the powersports industry looks forward to all year,” says Sturgis Buffalo Chip President Rod “Woody” Woodruff. “The Buffalo Chip has been attending motorcycle events across the country for some time. AIMExpo is working hard on the being the best and we’re proud to be part of helping that happen. We’re going to have a lot of fun hosting the motorcycle industry at AIMExpo this year.”
The Buffalo Chip will present the custom “Spirit of the Chip” award during the expo. This award celebrates the bike and builder that best represents the spirit of the Buffalo Chip and the custom motorcycle culture so prevalent at the Chip, which hosts 10 bike shows during the Sturgis Rally. Woody will personally select the motorcycle that fires him up the most for the rally and best represents The Best Party Anywhere®. The award includes a custom guitar trophy and two week-long passes for the annual motorcycle and music festival during the 2024 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
The Buffalo Chip “Best Party Bar” will be located next to the seminar stage and the custom motorcycle exhibit. Attendees are invited to visit the Buffalo Chip display and learn more about the beautiful Black Hills, the internationally famous Black Hills Motorcycle Rally and the 43-year history of the Buffalo Chip.
