From performing on the streets to setting the stage of music today, Neo-hippie Western rockers Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real are one of the biggest names coming up in the industry today. On Wednesday Aug. 10 they will take center stage at the Legendary Buffalo Chip Campground’s 30th celebration as the best party anywhere during the 71st annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
Lukas who is son of famed performer Willie Nelson was born with gift and sense of music. The 22-year-old singer-songwriter-guitarist along with drummer Anthony LoGerfo, percussionist Tato Melgar, and bassist Corey McCormick have traveled with Willie Nelson, B.B. King, Dave Matthews Band, Blues Traveler, Creedence Clearwater Revisited, Bachman & Turner, Toots & the Maytals, the Meat Puppets, and will join Lynyrd Skynyrd and Greg Allman at the Chip.
