“There’s a special camaraderie among campers who come in for the Early Bird Party and Friday Fest. Early birds don’t just come out to get set up in a good camping spot. These campers arrive early to see the craziness come together and get in on some of the best days of the festival,” said Rod Woodruff, President of the Sturgis Buffalo Chip. “These folks are friends who can’t wait to be welcomed home to the Chip again.”
The Buffalo Chip’s official Early Bird Party starts July 28 with nightly performances from The Living Deads at Bikini Beach. Special Early Bird passes provide guests with the earliest access to the Buffalo Chip on July 28 and can be purchased online. Arriving early also gives campers the opportunity to secure a special camping spot, spend time relaxing at Bikini Beach and make appointments for some new ink at the Tattoo Café.
