Summing up the Sturgis Buffalo Chip experience is no easy feat. From the moment you first ride onsite until you’re packing up to head home, you’re immersed in a whirlwind of stimuli. Nine days of killer concerts, action-packed racing and stunts, eye-popping custom bike shows, plus all the people watching, eye candy and outrageous party shenanigans provide a near sensory overload that’s difficult to distill into a digestible explanation for all your friends. Thankfully, you don’t need to be a master storyteller to convey your experience; you can just show them this video!

If you’ve been riding long, you probably know a couple hand signals to communicate with your friends while you’re on your bike. “Follow me.” “I gotta pee.” “Watch out for that turkey.” Basic stuff like that.
But what if what you want to share isn’t basic? Like “Your kickstand’s down” or some smack talk on the track like, “I bet you look sexy, but I wouldn’t know because you’re behind me.” What if something is making you laugh hard enough inside your helmet that you just want to share the laugh with a friend?

The entire automotive world had the air let out of our tires and our hearts run over early this morning with news that Jessi Combs had died. She was known in part as the “Fastest Woman on Four Wheels” for her 398 mph land speed record in the North American Eagle Supersonic Speed Challenger. It was a crash during her attempt to beat this record in a 52,000 horsepower, jet-powered car that resulted in her untimely departure from this earth on August 27, 2019.

SUPER WEIRD traces of occupancy are all that remain on the vacated 600-acre campground and biker entertainment destination known as the Sturgis Buffalo Chip®. The steady hum of V-Twin engines, the pounding thud of high-powered speaker systems and the unrestrained cheers and revs of huge concert crowds partying their faces off indicate the first full week of August has passed and another Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is in the books.
Bikes, cars, campers, trikes, and all sorts of wheeled contraptions and their riders have all headed home, but the same can’t be said for some of the wonderful, crazy and weird sh*t left behind by all the people who raged at the Best Party Anywhere®! Check out what was found.
