Builders from around the country gathered as the Buffalo Chip’s Student Build Challenge™ participants rolled their fully customized 2014 Harley-Davidson® Street Glide onto the showroom floor at the recent Donnie Smith Bike Show. The motorcycle’s anticipated reveal at the show brought a powerful and eye-catching custom 2014 Street Glide into the public eye—a feat the Sturgis Brown High School class hoped would bring home a major award for the second year in a row. So what did the judges think? Find out for yourself by watching this exclusive footage from the show!

The next stop for the Student Build Challenge motorcycle is the Black Hills Motorcycle Show at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center in Rapid City, SD, April 12-13. Last year the Student Build Challenge bike took first place in the Full Custom Bagger category as well as Best Custom Paint Job at this show—awards they hope to bring home for a second year.

Be sure to watch for the Student Build Challenge bike in an upcoming issue of Easyriders Magazine, where it will receive its own feature-length article and spread of photos taken by famed motorcycle photographer, Michael Lichter.

Excited Legends Ride® participants filled the streets of Deadwood in 2013 to bid on last year’s award-winning Student Build Challenge bike, so don’t miss your chance this year! The Buffalo Chip will be auctioning off the one-of-a-kind 2014 Street Glide in support of the 7th annual Legends Ride charity event on Aug. 4.
