The original venue to bring together music and motorcycles during the Sturgis Rally turned the BIG 4-0 this year. Suffice it to say, everyone anticipated the party celebrating this milestone would be one for the history books. Remembering Charlie Brechtel

A simple handshake in 2004 was all it took to bring biker bluesman Charlie Brechtel into the lives of countless Sturgis Buffalo Chip fans. Now, nearly two decades later, a tragic accident was all it took for him to be taken away. On April 25, 2020, Charlie Brechtel was killed in a motorcycle accident near his home in Copperopolis, CA, leaving the Buffalo Chip family and the greater motorcycle community suffering an unimaginable loss.

Remembering Jessi Combs

The entire automotive world had the air let out of our tires and our hearts run over early this morning with news that Jessi Combs had died. She was known in part as the “Fastest Woman on Four Wheels” for her 398 mph land speed record in the North American Eagle Supersonic Speed Challenger. It was a crash during her attempt to beat this record in a 52,000 horsepower, jet-powered car that resulted in her untimely departure from this earth on August 27, 2019.
