For the past 10 years, photographer Jordan Axtman has been granted this exclusive privilege. While you and your friends were singing your hearts out and dancing the night away, he was converting the energy and excitement of each performance into captivating concert photos.

As far back as I can remember, music and photography have been an important part of my life. I photographed my first band in 2008, and I still remember it like it was yesterday. The feeling has never left. The lights, the noise, the people, everything coming together to make for a unique experience each and every time. After covering hundreds of nationally touring acts, the feeling remains the same. I’ve been featured in SPIN Magazine, MusicRadar, and several news and industry websites in the US, Canada, UK, and Sweden. For the past ten years I’ve been photographing for the Buffalo Chip, and I’m currently located in Minneapolis, MN where I photograph shows year round.
