BC & The Big Rig Brings Hard-Working Grit to The Chip® During Sturgis Rally

Enjoy Southern Rock with a Storytelling Twist

Your faith in the hard-working American spirit will be renewed when you hear BC & The Big Rig blend country and rock elements with touch of folk storytelling during the Buffalo Chip’s August music festival. So once you’ve arrived for the 35th anniversary of The Best Party Anywhere®, head to the showcase stages and listen to the tales of this Tulsa-based band.

Classifying BC & The Big Rig has always been a challenge. With influences ranging from Merle Haggard and Johnny Cash to Black Crowes and Roger Clyne, this group best falls under the genre of “Americana.” It’s this merging of styles that makes frontman Brandon Clark and his fellow band members fit right in at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip®.

BC & The Big Rig may be a relatively new band name, but their music is steeped in acclaimed Tulsa music history. A former incarnation of the band has won the “Best Red Dirt” category in the annual Absolute Best of Tulsa music awards three times, and Clark himself has won “Artist of the Year” honors four times. Now, this group is about win over the entire Sturgis Rally when they take to the Chip’s showcase stages.
