The Buffalo Chip is reliving the past as The Synthetics take the stage this year! Get ready to be blasted with the energetic synthetic vibes of The Synthetics during the Best Party Anywhere. The Synthetics will recreate and revive the sound, look and feel of the New Wave movement of the 1980s at the Buffalo Chip, so squeeze into a pair of acid washed jeans, braid that rat tail, Hairspray those bangs and get ready to go back in time for some fun!
Greg “Spike” Brandriet on synths, guitar and vocals, Todd Christensen on drums and vocals, Chris Roman on bass and synths, and Rob Wechsler on guitar, synths and vocals make up The Synthetics. Angela and Michelle join the band on stage for female vocals, covering Cyndi Lauper, Blondie and The Eurythmics.
The Synthetics will blast their hits from the Kinison and CrossRoads stages with 80’s hits by Duran Duran, The Cars, Talking Heads, INXS, Flock of Seagulls, Billy Idol and R.E.M., along with many one-hit-wonders like Gary Numan, Soft Cell and Simple Minds.

The Synthetics will rock the campground’s Kinison stage on Monday, Aug. 6 from 12 to 1:45 a.m., Friday, Aug. 10 from 12 a.m. to 1:45 a.m. and Saturday, Aug. 11 from 12 to 1:45 a.m. at the CrossRoads with the Synthetics.
