American Veterans Traveling Tribute Memorial Wall at the Buffalo Chip was erected with the help of active duty service men and the Patriot Guard Riders

The American Veterans Traveling Tribute (AVTT) Wall is set up each year during the rally as a veteran’s tribute to honor those that have fallen in the line of duty. The memorial wall sits admidst the Buffalo Chips Field of Flags and Battlefield Cross and is engraved with the names of those that have fallen. The AVTT Veteran’s Memorial Wall travels the country so that people have an opportunity to view and pay their respects where it is convenient for them. The Patriot Guard Riders and active duty military personnel assist in putting up the wall.

The Legendary Buffalo Chip is not only a patriotic place, always honoring those who have served and are serving in our armed forces, but the Buffalo Chip is part of a larger community that helps servicemen, which is exactly what the Patriot Guard Riders who set up at the Chip do.

The Patriot Guard Riders are a group of riders who share a love for two things: motorcycles and showing respect to current military and veterans. The Patriot Guard Riders travel across the country to veterans’ funerals at the invitation of families to show respect and to shield the mourning family from protest or groups of protestors.

While at the Buffalo Chip, the Patriot Guard Riders worked with the American Veterans Traveling Tribute Wall to set up the memorial wall. They were also onsite throughout the rally to answer questions and to serve wherever needed.

Stop by to see these gentlemen and hear their stories while at the Field of Flags at the Legendary Buffalo Chip or partake in the Buffalo Chip’s Freedom Celebration.
