Summer Music Festival Crams in More Bands for Upcoming Sturgis Rally

Country crossover stars, Zac Brown Band, have added their name to the ever-expanding list of Sturgis concerts taking place at the Buffalo Chip’s annual summer music festival. The three-time GRAMMY winners will take to the Wolfman Jack Stage on Monday, Aug. 4, following an unforgettable performance by legendary blues man, John Mayall.
Legendary blues man, John Mayall, will join the incredible line-up of Sturgis concerts at the Buffalo Chip on Monday, Aug. 4 during the Sturgis Rally. After a career that has spanned over 50 years, Mayall will be headed to the Largest Music Festival in Motorcycling™ for a night of driving Chicago-style blues that you’ll never forget.
Legendary glam metal rockers, Mötley Crüe, will be storming the Wolfman Jack Stage for one last no-holds-barred Buffalo Chip performance as a part of their “All Bad Things Must Come to an End” tour. The group is calling it quits after 33 years of merciless metal and going out with a bang by taking one final tour of the U.S. with special guest, Alice Cooper.
The master of shock rock, Alice Cooper, will be bringing his dark theatrical stage show to the Sturgis Rally for the Buffalo Chip’s 33rd annual August music festival. Cooper is touring the country with glam metal legends, Mötley Crüe, as part of their “All Bad Things Must Come to an End” tour, and both will be playing at the Chip for a wild night of Sturgis concerts you won’t want to miss.
Florida Georgia Line
Contemporary country sensation, Florida Georgia Line, will make their Sturgis Rally debut during the Buffalo Chip’s 2014 Motorcycle and Music Festival. The singer songwriter duo comes to the annual August music festival toting an arsenal of such mega-hit songs as “Cruise” and “Get Your Shine On.”

Charlie Brechtel Band
The biker band and music that has been a staple at the Legendary Sturgis Buffalo Chip for over a decade, the Charlie Brechtel Band, will return to Sturgis, SD once again in 2013. Band front man Charlie Brechtel, known also as “Good Time Charlie,” will rock the Sturgis motorcycle rally again with his unique biker blues, aspiing to be the greatest biker band to ever exist.
Iron Cowgirl Missy
Iron Cowgirl Missy’s music boasts a sweet southern rock style that tells stories of her journeys and where she hopes her journey will continue to take her. The open road, traveling 15,000 miles in 10 days on her Harley-Davidson, discovery of friends and family at the Buffalo Chip and the greater biker community, being cancer free for seven years, and being a single mom is just a part of her amazing story.
Midstokke is back by popular demand to rock the Legendary Buffalo Chip’s August music festival hard with its electrifying rock, blues and funk motorcycle music. Midstokke, a band notorious for having a good time in Sturgis, is easily recognizable by the lead singer’s horned and hairy helmet and wild stage antics that blast the audience with a full frontal assault of high energy music, The band is scheduled to rock the Chip’s showcase stages nightly during their return dates to the Largest Music Festival in Motorcycling™.
The Living Deads
When the Living Deads hit the stage at the Buffalo Chip, it’s impossible not to have a good time. The band’s sexy Rockabilly sway led by sultry upright slap bass player, Symphony Tidwell and dramatic drummer Randy McKnight, grabs attention and keeps it.
Jimmie Bratcher, the Electric Reverend, descends upon the Sturgis Buffalo Chip with his unearthly melodies and blistering blues guitar licks during the 32nd annual Motorcycle and Music Festival.
“Hope you like jokes, cause here we go…” This year the Buffalo Chip Comedy Club again opens its arms to the hilariously raunchy comedian, Dwight York.
