The Chip kicks off the historic 85th Sturgis Rally the right way with a parade of motorcycles, the Star-Spangled Banner, The Rally Roar, and entertainment from ZZ Top and the 2025 Sturgis Battle of the Bands winner. The kickoff party is when our fuse of anticipation finally touches the powder keg.

Experience the next generation of rock 'n' roll as STIL RUNNIN fires up the stage during the Buffalo Chip’s Official Sturgis Rally Kickoff Party™ on Friday, Aug. 1. Distilled in Colorado and aged to perfection on the road, this band rose to the top to win the opening slot for the legendary ZZ Top during the third annual Sturgis Battle of the Bands. With viral hits and a sound that's been described as “Greta Van Fleet on moonshine,” STIL RUNNIN is ready to set the tone for an unforgettable nine days of concerts during the 85th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) returns to the Buffalo Chip for round 2 on Saturday, Aug. 2! Get ready for a night of raw, unfiltered action as 10 hard-hitting bouts light up the legendary amphitheater. The fight card is still under wraps, but anything can happen—and anyone might show up. Get ready for an explosive rock show as Cönaxx brings their electrifying sound to the Buffalo Chip stage for the first time! Hailing from Lafayette, CO, this powerhouse band blends classic rock, metal, funk, thrash, and psychedelic influences into a genre-smashing experience that hits straight to the soul. Known for their high-energy sets and wild range from James Brown to Pantera, Cönaxx has lit up legendary stages alongside icons like Warrant and Quiet Riot. They’ll be closing out an unforgettable Daredevil Wednesday at Bikini Beach the only way they know how - loud, bold, and all-out rocking.

Stage emcee Tumbleweed keeps the party going between stage performances, letting the fun move in whatever direction the wind takes him.
