Sturgis Riders! It’s time again to turn the hills pink! Join the Buffalo Chip on Friday, August 13th and ride in style for the annual PinknProud Charity Event. Celebrate motorcycling, showcase the spirit of the women riders and contribute to the efforts being made to eliminate the disease that affects too many lives. The event takes motorcycle and musician celebrities, along with sponsors and riders through the Black hills on a beautiful, fifty mile escorted ride. The ride kicks off with registration and a celebration of women riders at Sacora Station on Sturgis Road off of exit 46. Enjoy live music, camaraderie, door prizes, followed by a picturesque ride route, a ranch-style lunch at the Nemo Guest Ranch, a pink parade through the camp ground, and a Chip-size finale at the Buffalo Chip Event Center. Riders and guests will be treated to a delicious dessert bar, champagne toasts, an inspiring presentation of ladies in the motorcycle industry and a book signing by Cris Sommer-Simmons. End the night with great concerts from Disturbed and the farewell tour of The Scorpions.
100% of the $150 rider contribution will support cancer education, prevention, and life restoration in the greater Black Hills area. Funds will be supporting charitable partner, Rapid City Regional Hospital Foundation, who is the leader in providing funds for the 6 state region’s cancer treatment center. We don’t want anyone to miss this opportunity to celebrate the pink life, so even if you are not riding, wear pink in honor of a co-worker, wife, daughter, sister or mother on Friday August 13. All are welcome to decorate houses, neighborhoods and businesses in Pink with an official PinknProud supporter tee or tank. Recently, ladies world-wide have made their mark as bikers and the Chip is proud to showcase and honor their spirit with this event and champion its cause at the same time.
