Hundreds of people gathered together in honor of one man, one man who helped shape their lives, in order to help support his recovery. The Darwin Brink Benefit went off without a hitch, bringing together people from all walks of life, and raising a record amount of money for one single person. Between the live and silent auctions, and other various donations, the benefit was able to raise nearly $30,000 for Darwin.
Darwin Brink, a member of the Buffalo Chip family since 2004, recently suffered a stroke after having surgery at the Mayo Clinic. While many may not know Darwin’s face, they know his accomplishments. His famous Buffalo Chip sculpture and the world’s largest V-Twin Motor sculpture greet bikers upon their arrival at the campground. Donations can still be made by sending them to Darwin Brink Benefit at 20622 131st Ave. Sturgis, SD 57785.
