The Legendary Buffalo Chip is excited to announce that Meade County will continue to work with the rally to ensure that it remains successful by lowering the cost of vendor fees. On Oct. 3, 2012, Meade County Commissioners voted to lower the fees required of vendors that visit not only the Buffalo Chip but the county as a whole as well.
Early registration is being rewarded as commissioners voted to allow vendors who reserve their permits online at least 30 days prior to the rally to receive a 10 percent discount, lowering the vendor fee to $360. Commissioners will work to make online registration available, making it more cost effective and more profitable for rally vendors to conduct business in Meade County venues such as the Sturgis Buffalo Chip. The 2013 rally will take place on Aug. 5-10.

With the combined efforts of Buffalo Chip owner Rod “Woody” Woodruff, marketing director Greg Smith and the world famous Tattoo Artist Shaun Kama of Halloween Tattoos, the Tattoo Café promises to explode with the same excitement you have come to expect from the Chip.

At the Chip we have the most wonderful family of vendors anywhere, and 2012 will be no exception. Katus Jack’s Hats are bringing back to the Chip in 2012 their high quality panama style woven hats of all shapes, styles, and sizes.
Jack and Rhonda add so much fun to the party, and everyone looks great walking around in their hats. Be sure to visit them in the Custom Cove vending area at the Chip!
American Veterans Traveling Tribute
The Legendary Buffalo Chip is proud to announce the American Veterans Traveling Tribute will be back at the Chip during the 2012 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
The American Veterans Traveling Tribute travels the United States with a replica of the Vietnam War Memorial and other memorials. Their mission is to honor, respect and remember all the true American heroes that have stood in harm’s way to protect and defend our country, freedom and way of life.
Accompanying the American Veterans Traveling Tribute will be the Buffalo Chip’s annual Freedom Field. Dozens of American flags are placed throughout the field to provide a truly moving tribute to all American heroes that have protected us.
Grizzly’s Patches
Preparing for another great rally, the Sturgis Buffalo Chip is busy adding more unique vendors and bringing back friends like Grizzly’s Patches. Grizzly takes great pride in his work and helps us celebrate our country, our bikes and our freedom of expression by offering a variety of awesome patches and pins. The Sturgis Buffalo Chip has hosted the Best Party Anywhere for the past 30 years, and over the years you’ve been able to find a bit of everything here. For almost the last decade a little bit of Mardi gras has found its way into the Chip experience. Tammy “The Bead Lady” and her husband Richard and family bring a little sparkle and extra fun to the party with their various bead necklaces.
The Bead Lady can’t be everywhere at once, but her bead stand locations have expanded throughout the Chip to be available wherever you are just when you find yourself in need of a little celebration. We’re looking forward to their return and seeing all the bling decking out the campground in 2012.

2012 will be Harmonius Dyno Center’s fourth year at the Buffalo Chip and they are very excited to be serving the performance fuel injection needs of the best party-goers anywhere.

Although they didn’t make it to the Sturgis Buffalo Chip last year, they were not forgotten. We saw their familiar “lips” everywhere around the Chip and we are so happy for their return this year. Please welcome back, My Intimate Secrets.

Incredible Metal
If you are into spontaneous, Hodge-podge like art, you have got to check out Incredible Metal on your visit to the Buffalo Chip. Creating iron sculptures of any size and shape, Incredible Metal’s art is different each time. If you’re still not convinced of the quality of their work, stop by the giant cross as you make your way to the entrance of the Chip and see firsthand the excellent craftsmanship that goes into their art. Incredible Metal will be located in the amphitheater near the North Food Court.
La Chic
The Sturgis motorcycle rally isn’t all just about metal and chrome, and here at the Chip we have plenty for women as well. Offering a wide selection of women’s apparel, La Chic is the perfect place to get that one cute outfit for a night on the town, or in this case, a night at the Chip! For those who aren’t first timers to the Chip, you know we have the best vendors around, and it is with excitement and pride we add another great vendor to our vending family. We are thrilled to welcome back Strip Club Choppers (SCC) for a third great year at the Buffalo Chip. We are very excited to learn that (SCC) will be bringing along their newest franchisee, Georgia – South Carolina Strip Club Choppers to provide you with all the SCC merchandise you need for your motorcycling passion.
