Los Angeles, CA (June 8, 2010)— To commemorate his historic sojourn this August to the 70th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally (Sturgis, South Dakota) and The Legendary Buffalo Chip® campground and entertainment venue, pop culture icon Pee-wee Herman has partnered with the premiere motorcycle merchandise firm, Hot Leathers, to create a truly unique new collection of Pee-wee merchandise.
This limited edition line, “Pee-wee at The Chip 2010”, combines the timeless comic character, famous for the hilarious biker bar scene from “Pee-wee’s Big Adventure,” with classic Buffalo Chip images. This eclectic selection includes highly stylized apparel for men, women and kids, specialty pins and patches, koozies, bottle suits, and glassware.
A collaborative effort between Pee-wee creator, Paul Reubens, Hot Leathers and the Buffalo Chip, this line is not just designed for motorcycle enthusiasts lucky enough to meet Pee-wee Herman August 8th & 9th in Sturgis. The collection is also intended to excite Pee-wee fans worldwide who have been avid collectors of Pee-wee’s unique merchandise for 25 years.
