Dog Leg Preacher lights up the stage at the Bufflao Chip

Seattle Rockers Dog Leg Preacher first brought their high octane, high powered rock show to the Legendary Buffalo Chip in 2008. For one week in August they literally set stages on fire at the Sturgis rally, and brought along a film crew to document the carnage.

The highlight of their week of performances was the late night show at the Kinnison stage. Dog Leg Preacher took to the stage in spite of a torrential downpour, and an incredible  lightning storm. They Played to an immense crowd of soaking wet onlookers, what an incredible site, crowds of soaking we biker babes illuminated only by huge flashes of lightning, and the occasional beam of motorcycle lights. An experience you had to attend to truly appreciate.

Dog Leg Preacher missed the 2009 rally. They were just to committed to finishing their new CD "Abscess", and finishing their hour long rockumentary "Hang Me The Sturgis Roadtrip". One of the hit songs from the new CD, track 8 "Cry Like A Shadow" was actually written at the legendary Buffalo Chip Campground. This track along with several others from the disc were released August 25th, and are currently receiving airplay from Alaska to Australia, and many places in between. The Movie was also released in August, and features a lot of fantastic footage of the Buffalo Chip, as well as the road trip, a few band blowups, numerous hot biker babes, and lots of bikes as well. Both the disc and the movie will be available on Dog Leg Preachers website by mid September of 2009.

2010 is right around the corner now. Dog Leg Preacher is already planning a return to the Legendary Buffalo Chip.

They are currently negotiating with a well known movie producer, who wants to film the ride out to Sturgis, as well as the events at the Chip.
As the radio and magazine requests roll in to the Dog Leg Preacher camp, the planning and developments become more intense. Now is your chance to get in on the fun. Dog Leg Preacher is easy to find on the web, drop them a line, come out and roll with the band. You never know what is at the end of that next stretch of open highway!
