Billy Idol to join All-Star Lineup at the Buffalo Chip Buffalo Chip Campground

Billy Idol to join All-Star Lineup at the Buffalo Chip Buffalo Chip Campground Biker rocker Billy Idol will join the lineup at The Legendary Buffalo Chip's 25th Annual Party during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.  Idol will play on Sunday, Aug. 6, a day prior to the "official" start of the rally.

Idol joins Alice Cooper, Montgomery Gentry, George Thorogood & The Destroyers, Gretchen Wilson, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kid Rock, Blue Oyster Cult, The James Gang with Joe Walsh, Ted Nugent, Alice In Chains and Buckcherry at the oldest biker campground in the world.

Idol is touring in support of his first studio album in twelve years, "Devil's Playground" which features frequent Idol collaborators Keith Forsey and Brian Reeves and his longtime band members guitarist Steve Stevens, drummer B rian Tichy, bassist Stephen McGrath and Derek Sherinian on keyboards.

The new tour has the Eighties legend thinking about the old days.
"Back then, it used to belike a Fellini film," he told Rolling Stone Magazine, "Nonstop drugs and sex, and then we'd happen to do a gig at some point."

A motorcycle accident in 1990 sidelined the snarling rocker who ruled the Eighties with "White Wedding," "Rebel Yell", "Dancing With Myself" and a cover of Tommy James and the Shondells' "Mony Mony."   With the successful single, "Scream" from "Devil's Playground" Idol was quick to tell Myspace.com that his two-hour show includes all his hits as well as new tunes from Playground.
