NEW CABIN RENTALS

The Buffalo Chip Campground has added cabins to the list of ways to enjoy your stay at the Chip during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.  We have 5 cabins located along a creek bed that runs at an angle from the Emerald Pond to the southern boundary of the campground.   They are spaced 50-100 yards apart, and there's plenty of room to park your bikes around them.  All of them have a deck, accessed by a sliding glass door, from which you'll have a great view of the sunsets.  

The Black Parrot Cabin is located near the Black Parrot beach bar and the sandy beach of Emerald Pond.  It provides a 12 x  12 cabin space and a deck of the same size.  There are 2 single size sleeping surfaces, air conditioning and heat.  A sliding glass door leads to the deck, which will have a picnic  table.  A small table and 2 chairs will be provided inside the cabin.

The Pitchfork Cabin is located near the old barn where our  Pitchfork Fondue dinners are served.  It is a 12 x 12 cabin with an 8 x 9 deck.  There are 2 single size sleeping surfaces, air conditioning, and heat.  A small table and 2 chairs are provided inside, with 2 deck chairs outside the sliding glass door.

 The Shady Cabin is surrounded by shade trees.  It is a 12 x 12 cabin with an 8 x 9 deck.  There are 2 single size sleeping surfaces, air conditioning, and heat.  A small table and 2 chairs will be inside, with 2 deck chairs outside.

The Cozy Cabin is 12 x 12 with an 8 x 9 deck.  It is furnished with a 2 person futon, air conditioning, heat, a small table and 2 chairs.  The deck will have 2 deck  chairs.  The South 40 shower/bathroom building is not far away.

The Outer Limits Cabin is the one at the southern boundary of  the campground.  It is 12 x 12 with an 8 x 9 deck.  It is within easy walking distance from the South 40 shower/bathroom building.  It has air conditioning, heat, 2 single size sleeping surfaces, a small table and 2 chairs.  There will be 2 deck chairs on the deck.

We also have 12 cabins which we call the Bear Butte Cabins since they have a great view of Bear Butte.  They are in a quieter area of the campground, just north of our water tower and shop building.  They are situated in a row, with about 8 foot of space between them, and a roadway fronting them.  They have small decks perfect for enjoying the view.

The rental cost does not include your campground admission.  Each person will need to purchase either the Rally, the Extended Rally, or the Early Bird admission pass to the campground and concerts.  

The cabins may be rented as described above, which is the Basic set-up.  The Bear Butte cabins can also be rented in a Deluxe set-up, which includes a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and air mattresses for the sleeping surfaces.  (In both the Basic and the Deluxe package, you provide the bed linens.)  If you would prefer the Deluxe package, you should call the Buffalo Chip Campground business office at  605-347-9000 and ask for Carol. Note: None of the cabins have running water.

The Barn Cabin has one room that can sleep 8 people in bunk-style beds. (You provide the bedding.)  It is air-condiitoned, but does not have running water.  It is located near the south shower/bathroom building in our South 40 RV park.  A $30 key deposit will be taken upon your arrival & refunded to you when the key is returned. The price does NOT include any person's admission to the campground. Each person must purchase either the Rally, Extended Rally, or Early Bird pass, or any combination of consecutive daily passes in order to enter the campground and gain access to the cabin.

The Gray Cabin has one room that can sleep 2 people in single beds.(You provide the bedding.)  It is air-condiitoned, but does not have running water.  It is located near the south shower/bathroom building in our South 40 RV park.  A $30 key deposit will be taken upon your arrival & refunded to you when the key is returned.  The price does NOT include any person's admission to the campground.
