Orange County Choppers Honors Veteran on Chip Stage in Nov. 23 Episode

The next in a list of exciting Sturgis Rally TV shows filmed at the Buffalo Chip airs this weekend. CMT will broadcast its “Orange County Choppers” episode entitled “The GAF Sturgis Bike” on Saturday, Nov. 23.

“Orange County Choppers” is a reality TV show that chronicles the ins and outs of the renowned motorcycle manufacturer of the same name. In each episode, the OCC team, headed by Paul Teutul Sr., reaches new extremes in custom bike building. The episode filmed in part at the Buffalo Chip during the 2013 Sturgis Rally is no exception.

In this episode, North America’s largest roofing manufacturer approaches Paul Sr. about building a bike for them. But there’s a catch. They want it ready in two and a half weeks so they can present it to a wounded combat veteran at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip during the Sturgis Rally. To add to the pressure, the bike presentation will take place on the Buffalo Chip’s Wolfman Jack Stage in front of a sea of motorcycle enthusiasts.

Die Hard Chipsters Write Official Best Party Anywhere™ Theme Song

The Buffalo Chip gets a lot of praise from fans, but a few weeks ago we received a compliment that was just too significant to keep to ourselves. After attending the Chip’s summer music festival for several years, superfan, Zach Dodge, penned the lyrics to his very own Buffalo Chip tribute song. With the help of producer, Brandon Goehner, this irresistibly catchy song sprung to life and showed up in our inbox.

We were so flattered by the lengths these two went to express their love for The Chip™ that we gave the song its own music video. So crank up the volume and check out the premiere of the official 2013 Best Party Anywhere music video!

Motorcycle Daredevil Clint Ewing On Road to Recovery

By now, it's likely you've heard of the amazing outcome of Clint Ewing's daring world record attempt in the Tunnel of Fire. Despite his years of careful preparation, Clint's attempt at the mother of all motorcycle stunts was unsuccessful—an outcome that could have easily taken his life. So whether you chalked it up to coincidence, good luck or divine intervention, one thing was certain—seeing Clint Ewing walk away from the same motorcycle stunt that claimed the lives of others before him was nothing short of miraculous.

Although Clint survived his world record attempt on Daredevil Wednesday, he unfortunately did not come out unscathed. The motorcycle stunt rider sustained third degree burns on his hands and back. After being taken to a California burn treatment center, Clint received skin grafts from his legs to aid in the healing process. If all goes as planned, with the help of physical therapy the motorcycle daredevil should enjoy a full recovery by the end of this year.
