Is the registration contribution per person or per motorcycle?
Does my contribution include admittance to Buffalo Chip concerts?
If you are one of the first 50 riders to reserve, you’ll be able to take in all the festivities on the Buffalo Chip grounds with your Legends Ride package, including headlining concerts.
Can I make a contribution in addition to the registration, or even if I do not participate in the Legends Ride?
Are all bikes welcome?
Yes! The Legends Ride welcomes all makes and model of motorcycles and trikes. You can ride as long as you are on two (or three) wheels!
Is the Legends Ride a poker run?
No, this is a “point to point” ride from the start site in Deadwood to the final location at the Legendary Buffalo Chip in Sturgis. Please refer to the map and schedule for details.
Will there be food for participants?
Yes – at the end of the ride.Participants will enjoy a complimentary assortment of heavy hors d’oeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages at the Legends Ride reception at the Buffalo Chip at the ride’s conclusion. A bar is available.
Where is the reception located?
The reception is held at the Buffalo Chip Gardens near the East Gate of the Legendary Buffalo Chip. Please refer to the map for the route and location information. If you have additional questions please call 605-347-9000 Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (MT).
How much money do the charities receive from this event?
Thanks to our sponsors, the Buffalo Chip is able to donate 100% of riders’ contributions. The Legends Ride has, since its inception in 2008, helped push Buffalo Chip’s charity donations over the $2.1 million mark.
I registered online. Do I need to bring anything with me on ride day?
Please bring a print out of your online registration confirmation, or find the email on your phone and don’t forget your photo ID.
