While riders hang out for the Ride in the historic town of Deadwood on Monday, Aug. 10, join a small group of fortunate individuals and Buffalo Chip owner Rod Woodruff and Legends Ride celebrities for a top shelf gourmet meal and VIP program.

This multi-course gourmet luncheon takes place in a private, relaxed setting at the Historic Franklin Hotel’s Legends Steakhouse, a restaurant known for its culinary prowess. The entire restaurant is reserved to serve this select group for this exclusive insiders’ mix and mingle.

About Special Olympics South Dakota – Rapid City Flame

Special Olympics Rapid City Flame is an organization of community and business leaders, coaches, volunteers and parents who provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of sports for children and young adults with intellectual disabilities. There are now over 150 athletes from Rapid City and its surrounding communities participating in an ever-increasing number of sports and opportunities. Skilled coaches and volunteers create a delightful experience for the participating athletes and families.
 
Rapid City Flame participates in Special Olympics Unified Sports, joining children and young adults with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team. Teams are made up of individuals of similar age and ability, which makes our practices more fun and games more challenging and exciting for all. Dedicated to promoting social inclusion through shared sports training and competition experiences, we see that people who train and play together develop friendships and understanding.
