The Flying Piston Benefit Builders Breakfast

Presented by Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys

Catch the vibe of the custom culture and hang out with cutting-edge builders on Sunday, August 6 at the 9th Annual Flying Piston Benefit Builders Breakfast. It’s an inner circle event that brings together top-tier companies like Russ Brown, Strider Bikes, Steve’s Garage and Baker Drivetrain to celebrate custom motorcycles and benefit new rider efforts. And it’s been the debut, each year since 2018, of the new class of Tiny Strider Customs.

As an attendee, you’ll meet the builders from the Chip’s prestigious Motorcycles As Art exhibit, curated by Michael Lichter, who will be there to shake hands, sign autographs and pose for pictures. Each year Michael creates a theme that brings to the Chip a group of custom creators whose work is astounding, whether legacy names or new on the scene.

Moto-celebs lend their support to this worthy effort, too, such as Rod “Woody” Woodruff, Billy Lane, Cycle Source Editor Chris Callen, Bikernet Editor Keith Ball and Pat Patterson. Moonshiner Josh, Xavier Muriel and Cris Sommer Simmons have stopped in. Surprise appearances are guaranteed!

For the 6th consecutive year, we will unveil the new class of Tiny Strider Customs at the Breakfast. The 2023 builders will be announced soon.

The Big Engine Bar at the Buffalo Chip CrossRoads is specially reserved just for this event. There’s a Bloody Mary cash bar and a fabulous silent auction packed with moto-inspired artwork including one-off designed skate decks, leather-wrapped flasks and painted stainless Big Frig mugs. Selected items are autographed by the dignitaries and celebs, too.

Proceeds benefit AllKidsBike, an initiative of the Strider Education Foundation that’s on a mission to teach every kid to ride a bike in kindergarten P.E. class, as well as Motorcycle Missions, an organization that brings veterans suffering with PTSD into motorcycling.
