Not everyone agrees on politics, but after this long, drawn-out, drama-filled election season, we can all agree it’ll be a relief to have it finally over with. And once the final vote is tallied, for better or for worse we’ll all have four years to deal with the outcome. So as you hold your breath awaiting the result of this presidential election, cross your fingers that whoever is chosen has these six things in common with bikers.
1. Competitive spirit and a drive to win.
If you don’t want to come in second place, you’ve got to fight for first. Plain and simple.
2. Strong opinions.
Nobody trusts the person who is wishy-washy or talks out both sides of their mouth.
3. Ability to do amazing things on a tight budget.
Having champagne taste on a Budweiser budget can get you into a lot of trouble. But with some creativity, it’s always possible to get more from less. As they say, necessity is the mother of invention.
4. Zero tolerance for terrorists.
Anyone who threatens American freedom deserves a big ol’ “F*** you” like the one Lt. Jason Redman gave ISIS during the Buffalo Freedom Celebration.
5. Respect for those who sacrificed to keep us free.
The ability to enjoy some of life’s greatest gifts would never be possible if it weren’t for the sacrifices of the brave men and women of our nation’s military.
6. Love for their country.
When you’re from such a great nation, showing your pride should be second nature.
