How would you react if the Travel Channel surprised you by planning your very first road trip to the Buffalo Chip? Would you drop everything and say yes to the offer? See what happens when an Arizona couple agrees to this spontaneous Sturgis Rally vacation on the upcoming episode of Travel Channel’s “Trip Flip” airing Wednesday, April 30 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. But first, here’s the sneak preview…
Professional fun-seeker and “Trip Flip” host, Bert Kreischner, has planned the adventure of a lifetime for Sturgis Rally first-timers, Brinton and Allison. The couple starts their journey by jumping out of an airplane and landing in a field outside Billings, MT, where two brand new Victory motorcycles await. During their 400-mile trek to Sturgis, the two make a stop to fly fish in the Big Horn River and accompany the Crow tribe on a sacred buffalo hunt. But naturally, Travel Channel has saved the best for last!
Brinton and Allison ride into the Buffalo Chip at the end of act five. While the two do make a trip into Sturgis to race dirt bikes at the historic Jackpine Gypsies Racetrack, they spend plenty of time at the legendary Sturgis campground—enjoying the camaraderie of fellow riders and taking advantage of fun Chip activities like the Bikini Beach rope swing.
Of course, Travel Channel had some unexpected twists in store for the adventuresome travelers during their time at the Sturgis Rally, but you’ll just have to tune in to see what they are. “Skydiving to Sturgis: A Road Trip” airs Wednesday, April 30, so check your local listings for airtimes and tune in!
