An average of 100 million viewers tune in to the Super Bowl each year, and thanks to extreme rivalries, legendary halftime performances and an easy excuse to celebrate Sunday Funday, that number only continues to grow. But long after your heartburn subsides from all the bad calls and Ted’s ghost chili hot wings, the one part of the spectacle that’s sure to stick with you is all the over-the-top advertisements. Throughout the decades, countless hilarious and heartwarming commercials have made their debut during this live sporting event, but since most companies can’t afford a $5 million price tag, there will always be great ones you didn’t get to see. Here are seven memorable Super Bowl commercials that should’ve been and the reasons why we think they deserved to be aired during the big game. (We saved the best for last.)

On Thursday, January 25, 2018, the South Dakota Supreme Court released a 16-page statement reversing a previous fourth circuit court decision ruling against the Meade County Board of Commissioners last year. The latest Supreme Court decision rules in favor of the Town of Buffalo Chip’s 2015 incorporation.

December 17, 2017 Update – 95 Percent Containment, Some Roads and Parks to Reopen
Crews have been able to continue to hold containment lines and carry on with mop up efforts throughout the weekend. Although the total numbers of acres burned has increased to 54,023, the Legion Lake Fire has now reached 95 percent containment.

Eric Church’s New Song “Why Not Me,” Will Restore Your Faith in Humanity
Finding the words to process a tragedy can seem impossible. When terrible things happen, it can be hard to feel like there’s any good in the world at all. But where words fail, music speaks. Less than 48 hours after Eric Church headlined Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, that same location became a grisly scene of carnage. Church considered cancelling his next performance at the Grand Ole Opry until he learned about a fallen fan and his wife who also had tickets for the Opry performance.
