You need to check this guide out. Why? Because over the past 33 years, the Buffalo Chip’s August music festival has become known as the Largest Music Festival in Motorcycling™, and this showcase guide shows you all the stops the Chip pulled out this year to live up to that name. The 2014 festival promises to bring you nearly triple the number of bands as in previous years on the six showcase stages throughout the campground, thanks in part to Jivewired and AXiS Entertainment. With music from every genre, side-splitting stand up comedy and smokin’ hot dance routines, 28 showcase performers will deliver practically round-the-clock entertainment to keep your Sturgis Rally party going. Keep reading to meet the acts and find out when and where you can see each of them perform!

The 4onthefloor
This four-piece band has become known for each of its members playing a bass drum and only writing songs in 4/4 time. The formula was derived from a style fittingly called “four on the floor,” wherein the bass drum is hit on every downbeat. Despite the style’s disco-era origins, 4onthefloor uses the concept to fit its fusion of delta blues and classic rock sounds. Find yourself floored by The 4onthefloor during its Buffalo Chip performances:
Sunday, 8/3 @ Noon – Jägermeister Stage
Monday, 8/4 @ 7 p.m. – Wolfman Jack Stage
Tuesday, 8/5 @ 6:30 p.m. – Jägermeister Stage

While the Allies never stray too far from their southern rock roots, the influence of the west coast has undeniably crept into the band’s increasingly popular catalog of original alternative rock songs. Hang loose with these southerners-turned-surfers during their Chip performances:
